Located in Houston Texas, Data Management Solutions (DMS) a privately held company was formed in 1993. The founders were all business professionals within the gas industry. Their experience with many pipeline systems led them to create a company that could address the requirements that were not fulfilled by available systems on the market.

He also Co-chaired the Southern Gas Association in 1989 and 1991.
